» International Flatfish Symposium
The 7th International Flatfish Symposium will be held in Sesimbra, Portugal from November 2nd to 7th, 2008. Symposium headquarters and main venue will be the Cine Teatro Municipal - João Mota.
The 7th IFS will explore the topic of environmental change effects on flatfish productivity. The thematic sessions programmed are:
Impacts of climate change on flatfish populations
Fisheries and aquaculture related impacts on flatfish stocks
Impacts of habitat modifications on flatfishes
Biodiversity and ecosystem functioning
Ecosystem management
